UCPath Upcoming Unavailability and Dec/Jan Paydate Adjustments

Dear Colleagues,

As the next wave of UC campuses transition to UCPath, there will be three brief periods when the UCPath system will be unavailable for access. This means that the UCPath Online portal will be unavailable for viewing paychecks, leave accruals, tax information, and other self-service functions during these periods. Please plan to access UCPath Online before or after these periods.

UCPath System Unavailability

  • November 30, 7PM – December 1, 7AM (additional date recently added by UCPath Center)
  • December 5, 5PM – December 9, 8AM
  • December 18, 5PM – December 22, 8AM

Due to these UCPath lockout periods coupled with the curtailment period, Berkeley Region Services (BRS) has announced a deadline of 12/2 for HR-based transactions (excluding timesheets) to ensure requests are processed by calendar year end. See the BRS Client Payroll Calendar for December timesheet deadlines, and/or the CalTime website for usual CalTime Timecard Approval Deadlines

Paydate Adjustment Reminders

  • The second biweekly payday in December will be on 12/23, two days earlier than the usual Wednesday payday. For those who receive paper paychecks, they will be mailed on Friday, 12/20 to the home address listed in UCPath.

  • The exempt (MO) payday for the 12/1/19–12/31/19 period will be on 1/2/2020.
