NPN Social Hour: Raleigh's Pub
Wednesday, July 24, 5:15 - 7:00 PM
Raleigh's Pub, 2438 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704
Reclaim Telegraph whilst the students decamp from Berkeley over the summer. Raleigh's is just the relaxing environment to enjoy some informal networking. Invite a colleague or two!
Bring your lunch and meet other colleagues from across campus for a networking lunch. We'll meet at the institute of European Studies located at Moses Hall near the Campanile. This event is the perfect excuse to get up from your workspace and switch things up for a change.
Starting from the end of the Foothill lot located behind the Foothill Dorm complex and Greek Theatre, we'll make our trek up to the iconic Big C, where we will then stop to take in the breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay. Those interested in a post-hike drink can join the group at Tap Haus, just a brisk walk from Foothill. This is a great way to get your fitness in while meeting colleagues from across campus. This short, semi-step hike takes about 15 minutes or so each way.

Meet for a drink and some finger foods at one of Berkeley's most welcoming establishments. When not closed for live events, the restaurant and bar has fun games set up in the concert space like cornhole and a giant tic-tac-toe. Come on over and add some fun to your week.
Join us for a fun, informal afternoon of engaging with campus professionals! Whether you are interested in exploring a new field or seeking advice about next steps in your career, this event is a great way to make connections and expand your knowledge.
Rotate among our featured "networking mentors" for 5-minute, one-on-one conversations. The structured portion will be followed by open networking, giving all participants a chance to learn more about the wide array of opportunities on the Berkeley campus.

Welcome to the New Professionals Network!
We are a committee within the Berkeley Staff Assembly (BSA) that welcomes New Professionals to Berkeley.
Our goal is to create a forum, wherein UC Berkeley's early career professionals and recent hires from across campus can come together to expand their networks, exchange professional development opportunities, and share their experiences and knowledge about building a career at Cal with one another. We plan monthly lunch meetings, networking happy hours, and are looking to expand professional development for our members.
If you have ideas, questions, or would like to be involved with the NPN Committee, please contact Larissa (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please join us at our General Brown Bag Lunch Meetings and our Happy Hours (dates and locations listed above)!
To join the mailing list for event updates and meeting location announcements, send an email to Larissa with the subject line “Subscribe NPN”. We look forward to seeing you soon!
