Shop cycads and palms, carnivorous plants, succulents, California natives, subtropicals, houseplants, and a wide selection of drought-tolerant plants from around the world. There is something for everyone at the Spring Plant Sale! Visit our website for shopping tips, plant lists, and a map of the sale. Even if you don’t keep a garden, indoor plants can brighten your house, apartment, or dorm room with minimal care.

The Garden’s expert staff and volunteers take pride in the plants they grow. They’ll be on hand to answer questions, give advice, and talk all things plants!
Members' Sale: Open only to Garden Members. You can become a Garden Member at reduced rates for Cal Students, Staff, and Faculty
Members get first pick of plants and exclusive access to the Room of Rares! The Room of Rares will feature exotic ferns, sought-after cycads, unusual succulents, species orchids, cloud forest Magnolia, beautiful bromeliads, variegated Ginkgo, and much more. The Garden is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm and always free to students, faculty and staff. Take a hike, ride your bike, or hop on the campus Hill shuttle (from Hearst Mining Circle every 30 min) to visit the UC Botanical Garden.
