VISIT CAL`s WORLD-CLASS PLANT COLLECTION
You may have heard it before, but it's still true: the UC Botanical Garden represents one of the most diverse and valuable plant collections in the world (and the only botanical garden in the world with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge). The spectacular Julia Morgan designed building from 1912 is now in place. What better way to herald the coming of spring than a visit to the University of California Botanical Garden, where signs of the season can be found around every bend. The Garden is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm and is always free to students, faculty and staff. So, take a hike, ride your bike, or hop on the campus Hill shuttle (a short 5 minute ride from the Hearst Mining Circle every 30 min) up Centennial Drive to visit our garden - your garden - the UC Botanical Garden.
