Executive Assistant to the Chancellor, responsible for managing the Chancellor's schedule and events.

Community and her colleagues; it feels like she's working with family. She once left Berkeley for 6 months and came right back. She loves working at Berkeley which is why she has been here so long. Supporting Chancellor Christ has been her favorite role.
What makes the nominee a star, what sets them apart from their colleagues?
Yvonne is consistently responsive, friendly, a team player and hard worker. Her job is immense and she is solid and dependable!
What tip would the nominee pass on to other staff to thrive on campus?
Creating a positive work environment is so important. Take on additional tasks/projects and consider it an opportunity rather than "extra work". Trust your team.
What can we find the nominee doing on the weekends?
Spending time with her grandkids, reading and exercising.
