I am pleased to announce the date of the sixth annual Next Opportunity at Work (NOW) Conference! Our annual Staff Career Development conference will take place Thursday July 19th, 2018 at the Doubletree Hilton at the Berkeley Marina.
The NOW Conference is designed to support your career and professional development. We chose this year’s theme, “Inspiring Sustainable Opportunities” to underscore our commitment to providing you the best opportunity to stay and grow your career here at Berkeley.
This year, we are taking the conference to the next level by moving off campus. Our goal is to offer you, the valued staff members of UC Berkeley, a truly professional conference experience. This year, registration will open in two rounds to optimize the reach to our campus staff population. The first round will open on Wednesday, May 23rd at 9:00 AM with 300 available spots. The second round will open the remaining 300 spots on Thursday, May 24th at 12:00 PM. Following the second round, a waitlist for the event will start.
