This Monday: Campus Conversations with Student and Faculty Leadership

September 27, 2019

 Communications & Public Affairs

Dear faculty and staff,

The Office of Communications and Public Affairs is pleased to invite you to the semester’s second edition of Campus Conversations, our monthly series of discussions with Berkeley leaders, this Monday, September 30, from 12 to 1 p.m. in Alumni House.

This time around, we’ll be hosting Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC) President Amma Sarkodee-Adoo and UC Berkeley Academic Senate Chair Oliver O'Reilly. As the leader of Berkeley’s student government and the head of the campus’s faculty senate, President Sarkodee-Adoo and Chair O'Reilly will share important perspectives on the issues facing Berkeley and higher education today. They’ll also discuss their organizations, their own priorities, and shared governance on our campus.

After next week, Campus Conversations will continue with Chief Campus Counsel David Robinson on October 15, our new Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer Eugene Whitlock on November 20, and Chancellor Carol Christ on December 18. For more information and to view previous conversations, visit campusconversations.berkeley.edu.

If you need special accommodations for this event, please contact publicaffairs@berkeley.edu. A Cal ID is required to attend, and coffee and snacks will be provided.

Sincerely,

Diana Harvey

Associate Vice Chancellor for Communications & Public Affairs
