It is my pleasure to announce that the lottery for the Next Opportunity at Work (NOW) Conference is now open.You can access the interest form on the NOW Conference website or by clicking HEREBased on your feedback, we implemented a new registration process this year to give as many staff as possible an equal opportunity to attend. The deadline for entering the lottery is Sunday, May 19, 2019.
Please note: The interest form is only to enter the lottery and is not the formal registration for the conference. Those chosen from the lottery will be provided registration information at the beginning of next week, 5/20-5/25. The selection process will be random to ensure all interested staff members an equal opportunity to participate. If you receive an email saying you have been selected from the lottery, you will have two weeks to register for the conference before we give your spot to someone on the waitlist. If you are not selected from the lottery, you will be notified of your place on the waitlist.
The Conference will take place on Thursday, July 25th at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in the Berkeley Marina. We chose this year’s theme, “Own Your Career,” to encourage and empower staff to take control of their career here at UC Berkeley and to underscore our commitment to provide you with the best opportunities to do so.
Your professional development continues to be a priority for me, as it is for campus leadership. In addition to attending the NOW Conference, I encourage you to explore all of the staff learning and development opportunities that we offer here on campus.
