Leadership & Career Enhancement Program (LCEP) for Staff of Color

Dear Colleagues,

I’m pleased to announce that after our successful Spring pilot of a new Leadership and Career Enhancement Program for Staff of Color, we will be sponsoring two offerings of this program in this fiscal year - one in Fall 2018 and one in Spring 2019.

Here at UC Berkeley we are striving to address long-standing issues that have limited the success, mobility and representation in leadership for our underrepresented staff and managers. This program is part of a project that aims to develop a more equitable and inclusive environment for staff, and includes organizational efforts as well as this program to enhance opportunities for staff of color.

There will be a cohort of 10 staff for each program, who will be nominated by their Dean, Vice Chancellor or Vice Provost and selected by a steering committee and program graduates.
