Our fall 2019 New Student Convocation will formally welcome about 9,000 new undergraduate students to the university. The ceremony is an opportunity for our incoming students to gather together as a class and hear from campus administration, student leaders, and faculty. It is an exciting time for our students as they start their time with us, and an important opportunity for us to introduce them to our special community.
I write to encourage you to attend the New Student Convocation and be seated in the stands with your colleagues.
Please respond online by Wednesday, August 7.
Supervisors are encouraged to approve requests from staff to attend this campuswide event.
