Allison Henry, Chief Information Security Officer and Amy Neeser, Consulting + Outreach Lead, Research IT will provide important updates on threats targeting research data, real-world examples of how attackers are gaining access to systems, emerging trends in cybersecurity, ways you can counter threats, and resources available for UC Berkeley researchers.

A panel of experts will be available to answer further questions, including Anthony Joseph, Chancellor’s Professor, Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and UC Berkeley’s Cyber-Risk Responsible Executive, and Ken Lutz, Interim Director of Research IT.

Please bring your questions. We will record the session for those who are unable to attend.

This Town Hall will kick off a series of events and brown bag sessions throughout the month of October, to help researchers learn more about tools and resources available to keep campus data assets secure.
