Dear campus community -
Beginning July 1, 2019, the nonrefundable fee to replace a lost Cal 1 Card will increase to $35.
The current lost card replacement fee is $25. This fee increase will help cover rising Cal 1 Card operational costs and encourage good stewardship of University resources. The increased rate will apply to all eligible cardholders: employees (i.e., faculty, staff, academic, postdoctoral), affiliates, and students needing to replace a lost Cal 1 Card.
You will not need to pay the lost-card replacement fee in cases of:

theft (bring a copy of the police report, tracking, or case number)

damage (bring the damaged card to exchange)

name change including lived/preferred name, marriage/divorce, or other name change (bring previously issued card with prior name to exchange)
Eligible cardholders will continue to receive their first Cal 1 Card at no cost.
