Dear Campus Community:
This afternoon, the campus will virtually hold its annual memorial event to recognize the faculty, staff, students, emeriti faculty, and staff retirees who passed on this last year. The event will take place from 12 to 1 p.m. and will be live-streamed on the UC Berkeley Events Youtube channel. The program will include brief remarks and a reading of the names of those we are remembering followed by music and poetry. All are invited to attend.
In coming together to remember and to honor the lives of the deceased, we reach out to our many colleagues and friends who have suffered loss, and we share in a universal human experience that touches us all.
