We had a terrific start to our Fall Staff Appreciation Week by handing out over a thousand cups of Peet’s Coffee to staff this morning. Although the weather was on the chilly side, that didn’t stop you - and Oski - coming out to refuel and connect at our Staff Appreciation Stations around campus (check out the slideshow).

Tuesday 10/31: Cal Walks - Trek ’n’ Treat. It’s that one day a year where coming to work in costume is absolutely fine! Bring yourself, your co-workers, or your entire department for a fun walk around campus to burn off those candy calories (costumes optional!). Register for this event online and join us at the Campanile at 12:10pm. There will be awesome prizes, including campus partner Brita water bottles, Sports Basement gift cards, a Fitbit Charge 2 and much more!

Thursday 11/2: Faculty Lecture from world-renowned Dacher Keltner (Director of UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center) who will speak on improving well-being, handling stress, showing gratitude and building resilience during these challenging timesSibley Auditorium 12 noon in person, or watch online.
