Campus Conversations with Chief Campus Counsel David Robinson

October 14, 2019

 Communications & Public Affairs

Dear faculty and staff,

On the heels of last month’s month’s engaging discussion with ASUC President Amma Sarkodee-Adoo and Academic Senate Chair Oliver O'Reilly, the Office of Communications and Public Affairs would like to invite you to the next edition of Campus Conversations, this time featuring Chief Campus Counsel David Robinson.

On Tuesday, October 15, from noon to 1 p.m. in Alumni House, David will provide an overview of Berkeley’s Office of Legal Affairs and offer a behind-the-scenes look at how the university approaches a variety of legal areas, from Title IX compliance to free speech issues. He will also talk about the City of Berkeley’s lawsuit against the campus and other pressing legal matters.

After tomorrow's event, Campus Conversations will continue with our new Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer Eugene Whitlock on November 20 and finally Chancellor Carol Christ on December 18. For more information and to view previous conversations, visit campusconversations.berkeley.edu.

If you need special accommodations for this event, please contact publicaffairs@berkeley.edu. A Cal ID is required to attend, and coffee and snacks will be provided.

Sincerely,

Diana Harvey

Associate Vice Chancellor for Communications & Public Affairs
