Campus Conversation: Mental Health and Well-Being, Tuesday, Feb.15 at noon

February 10, 2022

 Communications & Public Affairs

Dear campus community,

Please join us Tuesday, February 15 from noon to 1 pm for our next edition of Campus Conversations, featuring professors of psychology Christina Maslach, pioneer of research on the definition, predictors and measurement of job burnout and Dacher Keltner, founding director of the Greater Good Science Center, and Peter Cornish, director of UC Berkeley’s Counseling and Psychological Services, as they discuss issues surrounding stress, burnout, and well-being.

This panel of experts will discuss issues affecting those in our community who struggle with mental health, feelings of burnout and where to find support during these most trying times. This conversation will help to recognize and understand these challenges as we work to support one another's well-being as we move toward normalizing our campus operations.

Those tuning in via the UC Berkeley Facebook page are invited to pose questions for the panel in real time by submitting them in the comments section of the post.

Next up in our ongoing series of spring conversations is a discussion with Christopher Edley, Jr. interim dean, Graduate School of Education, on Thursday, March 17 at noon.

We hope to see you next Tuesday.

Sincerely,

Diana Harvey
Associate Vice Chancellor, Communications & Public Affairs
