Dear campus colleagues,
We’re writing to let you know that Big Give, Berkeley’s online giving day, is moving from fall to spring and will be held on March 8, 2018. Our fourth annual Big Give fundraising campaign will shine a light on the importance of giving back to Berkeley, combining contests, social media, and a strong marketing blitz to drive giving to the university. The new date and other information will be up on BigGive.berkeley.edu in early October.
The decision to move the timing to spring was not made lightly. The Big Give Steering Committee deliberated over the strategic timing of the campaign, particularly whether or not Big Give would be as successful in the spring. Based on donor and gift analysis and survey responses, the team concluded that the Big Give brand is strong enough to change seasons, and that our donor community is engaged and expansive enough to follow it.
Below you’ll find information on upcoming information sessions. Tools for participating in Big Give, including presentations for and recording of past information sessions, can be found on Eureka.berkeley.edu/BigGive.

Please note: Donor and Gift Services will not be able to respond to inquiries regarding launch gifts (formerly known as seed gifts) until Oct. 16.
