How does your Staff Organization benefit UC Berkeley staff?
BRAG is a forum for discussing and sharing problems, information, and best practices that Berkeley research administrators encounter during their not-so-routine workdays. We also facilitate presentations by subject matter experts and create an environment to foster peer-to-peer exchanges.

In what kinds of events and/or outreach does your Staff Organization engage?
We host research administration presentations as well as faculty spotlights, which allow for faculty to showcase their research. Past meetings and recordings can be found here.

Sharing best practices, engaging with other colleagues in research administration across campus, and facilitating faculty presentations.

That research administration touches so many roles, units, regions, and departments on campus, and it's amazing to see how we all support the university's mission, specifically with regard to research and innovation.
What are your Staff Organization's current and future goals?
We will continue to foster professional growth in the research administration community by expanding our outreach to increase participation and continuing to highlight research and faculty through presentations.
