Dear Colleagues,

Are you interested in equity-minded training geared towards applying equity theories/concepts to your daily approaches and practices? Are you ready to engage in a process of critical self-reflection while building a large professional learning community with your colleagues?

People and Culture and the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) invite you to participate in a campus-wide professional learning experience designed to support and inform current and ongoing efforts to improve DEIB outcomes at the University of California, at Berkeley.

The Berkeley Equity Trainings Series (BETS) is an immersive and cohorted professional learning experience that brings together a cross-section of UC Berkeley employees to engage in an intentional sequence of workshops.

BETS consists of seven (7) three-hour topical workshops all held on Friday afternoons from 12-3 p.m. Each experience is facilitated by a thought leader and practitioner in higher education whose expertise is at the intersections of identity, culture, and institutional change. All workshops will be hosted in a virtual format.

If you are interested and available for all seven experiences, submit an online application. If you’d like more information or have any questions, please contact Katrina Pantig at kpantig@berkeley.edu

Thanks,Eugene & Lasana
