Annual Fall Plant Sale - UC Botanical Garden: Sunday, September 24th

The annual fall plant sale at the UC Botanical Garden is Sunday September 24. Mark your calendars! 

Members Sale: 9 to 10:30 AM
Public Sale: 10:30 AM to 4 PM
 
PLANT CORNUCOPIA
With over 8,000 plants at our 41st annual fall sale, UCBG specializes in regionally appropriate plants including California natives, and plants from South Africa, Australia, the Mediterranean, and Central and South America. You can shop for homegrown natives, rare cycads and palms, carnivorous plants, cacti and succulents from very small to landscape specimens, rare bulbs, glorious vines, tropical-house-plants, and much more. This year, we will again focus on plants appropriate for low water usage. Enjoy great prices and know all proceeds help support Berkeley's premiere Garden.

There will be free parking and round-trip shuttles from the Lawrence Hall of Science lot. 

THE ROOM OF RARES

UCBG is pleased to announce the Room of Rares, a boutique sale of plants carefully selected by Garden Horticulturalists. The Room of Rares will offer enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to acquire rare and unique plants that are only available in limited quantities.

GREAT ADVICE AND GUIDANCE
The UC Botanical Garden`s expert staff and volunteer propagators will be on hand to answer questions and give advice. Let our expertise guide you towards your dream garden.

MEMBERSHIP: REDUCED RATES FOR CAL STAFF, FACULTY, & STUDENTS
Members get first pick of plants, including those featured in the Room of Rares.  Complimentary refreshments will be served.  Non-members who wish to attend the preview sale can join now and take advantage of year-long benefits. Call 510 643 1224.

VISIT CAL'S WORLD-CLASS PLANT COLLECTION
You may ha ve heard it before, but it's still true: the UC Botanical Garden represents one of the most diverse and valuable plant collections in the world (and the only botanical garden in the world with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge). The Garden is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm and is always free to students, faculty and staff. So, take a hike, ride your bike, or hop on the campus Hill shuttle (a short 5 minute ride from the Hearst Mining Circle every 30 min) up Centennial Drive to visit our garden - your garden - the UC Botanical Garden.
