Open Enrollment for health and welfare benefits will close on Tuesday, November 26, at 5 pm sharp.
Typically, the final two days of the Open Enrollment period are the busiest, which will mean heavy traffic for the website, so please try to avoid last-minute choices.
If you haven’t already done so, to make the most of your UC Benefits:

Explore the UC 2020 Open Enrollment website for details about your plan options, costs, and changes.

Consider enrolling or re-enrolling in a Health and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for participation in 2020. Remember, if you choose UC Health Savings Plan as your medical plan, you cannot enroll in the Health FSA.

Ask any last-minute questions by calling (510) 642-7053 and hold for the receptionist to schedule a 15-minute telephone consultation with a Benefits Representative for this Friday, November 22.

Once you make your decision, sign in to UCPath online at ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu and look for Open Enrollment 2020 on the home page then click on Enroll Now to make your elections. You will receive a Submission Statement after each Open Enrollment Event submission. A final Open Enrollment Confirmation Statement will be emailed to employees by December 10, 2019. If you don’t see your changes recorded, please submit an inquiry by clicking on, “Ask UCPath Center.”

Newly hired with UC - how do I enroll in benefits? If you are a new hire you may see multiple benefit events in the Open Benefit Events Section. If this is the case, you must complete the New Hire event before you complete the Open Enrollment event. If you made your Open Enrollment elections first, please contact the UCPath Center.

Retirees must make Open Enrollment changes through UCRAYS.

Remember, the deadline to enroll or make changes is 5 pm, November 26. All changes are effective January 1, 2020.
