We hope you will take a moment to become familiar with this information and use it to learn more about the many fire safety, security services and resources available at UC Berkeley.
The Annual Fire Safety section is prepared each year by the UC Berkeley Campus Fire Marshall. The report provides the campus community with information on the number of fires in campus housing, fire safety systems and procedures.
The Annual Security section contains statistics for 2014, 2015, and 2016 of reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by the University, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus. The section also includes information about campus security policies, including those related to missing student notifications, alcohol and drug use, sexual and gender violence, crime prevention, and the reporting of crimes.
