The UC Berkeley Retirement Center is pleased to announce our retirement planning programs beginning in September 2017.

In addition to offering our popular "Pre-Retirement Planning Course," we are also offering a "Resilient Aging Lab" One-day Workshop, providing more in-depth exploration into the journey of retirement, including practical tools and support for planning your next chapter.

PRE-RETIREMENT PLANNING COURSE

DESCRIPTION: Our dynamic and collaborative Pre-Retirement Planning Course focuses on benefits and financial factors related to retirement planning, as well as more personal issues such as work-life transitions, and new or part-time employment.

DAY-LONG "AGING RESILIENT LAB" WORKSHOP
OCTOBER 6, 2017, 8:30 - 4:30 pm, Tang Center

A three-step program that follows the phases of a transformational journey. This program provides staff with practical tools and support for successfully transitioning into a new phase of life. Phase One is the one-day workshop which focuses on appreciating where you are and deciding where you want to go. Phase two and three include online facilitated community discussions and optional self-managed online networks. Offered at no cost as part of a pilot program. Continental breakfast and lunch included. Co-sponsored by the Resilient Aging Lab and the Be Well at Work program.
