Travel policy updates

Colleagues,

As we announced last year, effective July 1, 2019, the Office of President issued new guidance in their systemwide travel policy, G-28. This new guidance focuses on the possible reimbursement of dependent and dependent care expenses for staff, faculty, and prospective employees while on travel status. 

We are currently developing local campus policy and guidelines and are modifying the travel reimbursement system to capture the necessary changes. The updates to the policy and the travel and entertainment system are currently targeted for a July 1, 2020 implementation.
