Reminder: Campus Community Notice - IAB on Police Accountability & Community Safety Meeting

 Chancellor's IAB on Police Accountability and Community Safety

Dear Campus Community,

On 11/23/21, you received a campus community meeting notice message from us, specifically inviting Berkeley faculty, students, and staff to this week's Chancellor's Independent Advisory Board (IAB) on Police Accountability and Community Safety meeting. That message outlined the meeting goals and specifics.

So that you can participate in this Zoom meeting, we are following up to provide you with some additional details:

  • The meeting is on Wednesday, 12/8/21 from 4-6:00 PM (PST)
  • Here is the Zoom link. No advanced registration is required, but please note that your CalNet credentials will be required to log into the Zoom meeting.
  • The goals of the meeting and the structure, history, and charge of the IAB are outlined on the IAB's website.
  • Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) Captioning will be provided during the meeting and here are the slides that will be presented to support participation. If additional accommodations would empower you to participate more fully, please reach out to Lucy Andrews (lucyandrews@berkeley.edu) as soon as you are able. 

We are an independent advisory board, comprised of faculty, students and staff, who are committed to community safety on campus. We look forward to your input and value your engagement in the work of building a safer, more just campus.
