Open Enrollment closes Nov. 20 & Information Day is today!

Dear Colleagues,

Open Enrollment for health and welfare benefits will close on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 5pm sharp.

Typically, the final two days of the Open Enrollment period are the busiest, which will mean heavy traffic for the website, so please try to avoid last minute choices.

If you haven’t already done so, to make the most of your UC Benefits:

1. Stop by Freight & Salvage today between 10am – 3pm for our annual Open Enrollment Information Day to meet directly with Representatives from our Health & Welfare plans for final questions you may have.

2. Explore the UC 2019 Open Enrollment website for details about your plan options, costs, and changes for 2019.

3. Consider enrolling or re-enrolling in a Health and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for participation in 2019. Remember, if you choose UC Health Savings Plan as your medical plan, you cannot enroll in the Health FSA.

4. Ask any last minute questions by calling (510) 642-7053 and hold for the receptionist to schedule a 15-minute telephone consultation with a Benefits Representative for this Friday, Nov. 16.

5. Once you make your decision, log on to At Your Service Online and make your changes by 5pm, Nov. 20. All changes are effective Jan. 1, 2019.
