The University invites comments on the proposed revisions to PPSM 3 (Types of Appointment). This policy is applicable to staff employees in the Professional & Support Staff and Managers & Senior Professionals personnel groups and to Senior Management Group members.
The proposed policy combines PPSM 3 (Types of Appointment), PPSM 24 (Per Diem Positions), and PPSM 61 (Release During the Probationary Period or from Limited Casual/Restricted, and Floater Positions) in order to group all of the relevant language into one policy.
You may access the proposed version at PPSM 3 (clean draft), the redlined version at PPSM 3 (redlined draft), and the current versions of the impacted policies at PPSM 3 (current), PPSM 24 (current), and PPSM 61 (current).
Employees covered by this policy who wish to provide comments on the proposed revisions may submit them to HRPolicy@berkeley.edu by Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
