Leadership Roundtable scheduled for Nov 10, 2016

Berkeley Staff Assembly (BSA) is sponsoring a Leadership Roundtable

discussion to engage campus leaders in a dialogue about specifically the campus’s finances, improvement processes underway, as well as ongoing leadership and organizational changes.* This will present an opportunity for staff to ask questions and provide feedback about our priorities. All content will be based on questions and topics submitted directly by staff. Panelists will include:

  • Interim Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Carol Christ
  • Vice Chancellor Scott Biddy
  • Associate Vice Chancellor, Finance and Chief Financial Officer Rosemarie Rae
  • Campus Shared Services’ Chief Operating Officer Peggy Huston

*Please note that the BSA is separately planning a Staff Engagement Event later this academic year, which will emphasize staffing and workforce issues in particular. This roundtable is intended to focus on our ongoing finance and strategic concerns.

When is it?

Thursday November 10, 2016 from 11:30am - 1pm. Please note that this event will start promptly at 11:30am.

Managers and supervisors are encouraged to approve requests to attend subject to the operational needs of the unit.

Where is it?

Banatao Auditorium (310 Banatao) at Sutardja Dai Hall

This event will be also streamed live and viewable viathis link, recorded, and made available shortly after the event. Viewing rooms at Fourth Street will be available for CSS staff on a first come, first served basis at CR-238 & CR-328.

Please register via this link for Banatao Auditorium. Note that you must register to be seated, but due to capacity limits, this registration does not guarantee a seat.Staff IDs will be required for entry.

We want your questions in advance to help guide the panelists' discussion toward the questions of greatest interest to you, our staff. Please submit your suggestions no later than October 17th. Click here to submit your anonymous question(s).

The event will be streamed live and viewable via this link. The recording will be made available shortly after the event. 
We encourage departments/units to reserve local rooms for streaming parties as it is convenient.
