Today is Big Give, when Cal alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends come together to support the dazzling array of moments that make up the UC Berkeley experience. I’d like to express my gratitude to you, for all of the work you do on a daily basis to make those moments possible.
Here are some ways you can participate in our fifth annual day of giving, taking place until 9 p.m. tonight:

Follow the contests, including the Random Faculty/Staff Donor contest from 10 a.m.–noon — this year two winners split $3,000 for their fund of choice!

Promote BigGive.berkeley.edu to your networks.

Keep an eye on the new Big Matches, specific challenges from donors to unlock funds for favorite causes.

Use #CalBigGive on social media to boost the effort — and to enter your favorite programs in the social media contests.

Watch the gift count overall, because our Board of Trustees will donate up to $100,000 to Berkeley students in need if we reach 10,000 individual gifts. Every gift counts!
