Appointed to the high court in 2009, Sotomayor is the court’s first justice of Hispanic heritage and its third female justice. Her memoir, My Beloved World, tells the story of her remarkable rise from a Bronx, New York housing project to the country’s highest court. Justice Sotomayor's book, My Beloved World, will be available for purchase outside Zellerbach.

A limited number of free tickets are available to current students, faculty, and staff on a first-come, first-serve basis; one ticket per person. Ticket pickup:
You will be notified by email if you are receiving a ticket. Details concerning the in-person ticket pickup time and location will be included in the confirmation email. There will not be an alternative delivery option or will call for this event.
Please note that you will be required to show your Cal ID card in order to receive your ticket. If you are unable to pick up your tickets during the designated window, you may send someone on your behalf as long as they have your ID.
