 Student Affairs

Sign up for summer fun with Cal Youth Camps for ages 4 to 17.

Dear Colleagues,

UC Berkeley Recreational Sports offers many health and fitness opportunities. Additionally, for over 50 years our award-winning Cal Youth Camps have proudly upheld a tradition of excellence and fun in convenient campus locations from June–August! Registration is open now. It’s a good idea to get in on the fun early because camps and waitlists do fill up.

Cal Youth Camps 2019 summer camps provide kids with adventure, friendship, confidence building, and a warm welcome to the Golden Bear community. Featuring 1- and 2-week sessions, full and half-day commitments, lunch service, and extended care, our camps offer convenient options to suit your family’s schedule. Everything you need to make your daily routine easier in the summer—bring your child to work with you, without having to keep your child at your side all day.

Affordable and flexible summer camps are open to all, and include a wide range of academic and physical programs. Your child can explore the solar system in the Lawrence Hall of Science planetarium, land their first kickflip in a nationally recognized skateboarding camp, or cultivate social skills with specialized programming, among many other science, sports, and academic, offerings. Kids can work on STEM projects, gain lifelong skills like swimming, or foster leadership through engaging in classroom-based or outdoor activities with their peers.

Reserve a spot for your camper in the best summer experience in the East Bay, right here in Bear Territory.

Here’s to an amazing summer ahead!

Sincerely,

Stephen C. Sutton, Ed.D.
